Medicinal Benefits of Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule

ASPIRIN+ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE belongs to a class of medicines called antianginal. It is a combination of medication containing Isosorbide Mononitrate and aspirin. Isosorbide Mononitrate is a powerful vasodilator that operates by relaxing the blood vessels of the heart, reducing the stress on the heart making it easier to pump blood. Angina usually feels like tight chest pain, neck or arm area. The pain originates from the heart muscle and is a sign that part of it is not getting enough oxygen for the amount of work it is doing. Aspirin works as an antithrombotic action that affects platelet functioning and does not let them stick together, thus helping to prevent or reduce blood clots. As a combination medication, ASPIRIN+ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE reduces the risk of further heart attack or stokes or of dying from one of these atherothrombotic events.
